Description of ER experience on CV

Hi WSO,

I'm a first year and applying to spring weeks. I'm asking for advice on ways to best describe my ER experience on the CV. Apart from outlining tasks (market research, fundamental analyses, and assisting with investment ideas), are there better ways to better highlight my experience?

There are plenty of resources explaining how to bullet investment banking deal experiences onto the CV but few for ER, HF, AM. Similar to the advice on M&I and WSO on detailing IBD deals, would it be appropriate to highlight key ER/investment ideas I've worked on? If so, how may one go about describing it?

My take would be adding something along the lines of this as a bullet point along the general descriptions:

A reservation I would have is that my recommendation could have turned out right for the wrong reasons i.e. I got lucky. I am an undergraduate and frankly don't have the investment acumen to be an analyst, and even if I did, this bullet could still rub people the wrong way and give a bad impression. Kind of answered my own question on this one but wanted to hear from others.

So, should I just stick to simply outlining the tasks I did? Apart from outlining tasks, are there other things that can be included? Was wondering if there are any advice from more senior students or people working in the industry. HF, ER, AM, IB, any. Much appreciated.
