Good grades or Good Internships?

I'm in kind of a predicament, I study at one of Europe's best business schools and on the first round of exams, I completely bombed one of my exams and now I've been thinking, I'm never going to be able to graduate with the grades that I want and obtain good internships in places like London or New York.

However, my home country is a kind of middle market place, and I have connections in this area, and I've secured a good summer internship already thanks to this. So I'm just wondering, what's best for someone's career? Good grades or Nepotism to get internships?

Just a question, no need to be mean lol
