economy is great. hiring for analysts and summer analysts is way up this year.

few issues. non-target. average gpa. no internship experience. you list class projects and homework for entry level business courses where most other people include work experience.

i would first fix the resume, and start cold emailing alumni and boutiques.

 

I know I have to fix the resume but I have no clue where to start...I have no experience internship-wise or even academic projects..I have barely started my major courses so it is difficult to stick out...that's why I need help...

 

Any IB job you get is going to be through networking. Start networking/cold calling because you have a below average GPA (for IBD) from a non-target school.

ok thanks guys...I will probably be working 2 part time internships (one at a real estate company and another for insurance) this summer but for now I guess I will leave IB for another point in my life
