economy is great. hiring for analysts and summer analysts is way up this year.
few issues. non-target. average gpa. no internship experience. you list class projects and homework for entry level business courses where most other people include work experience.
i would first fix the resume, and start cold emailing alumni and boutiques.
I know I have to fix the resume but I have no clue where to start...I have no experience internship-wise or even academic projects..I have barely started my major courses so it is difficult to stick out...that's why I need help...

Any IB job you get is going to be through networking. Start networking/cold calling because you have a below average GPA (for IBD) from a non-target school.
ok thanks guys...I will probably be working 2 part time internships (one at a real estate company and another for insurance) this summer but for now I guess I will leave IB for another point in my life
Dude, you missed the point. Find some Hartford Alums who can hire you and make your sales pitch. Don't quit.
Ohh ok.. It's worth a shot but I would think that it's pretty late in the game to get an internship at a prestigious IB firm. I will weigh my options and see what is best for me. (I'm a girl btw)
