Need Resume Review for Full-Time Recruiting (SBs for helpful critiques)

I'm a rising senior graduating in January 2013 at a target/semi-target (think Ross/Stern/UVA). I've completed a couple PWM internships at two different BBs (didn't learn a goddamn thing) and in the Fall of 2011 did an internship at a boutique fund of hedge funds.

This summer I worked at a large international bank doing corporate banking type stuff. The program offered great training (same as BBs) and, because I was the only intern on my team, I got a lot of great experience. While it was not necessarily investment banking experience, I still did a good bit of modeling, formatting, due diligence, etc. so hopefully that won't be too much of an obstacle. Fortunately, I received a FT offer (about 50% of interns across the bank did) so I decided to put that on there, but I don't know if I should keep it on my resume or not.

Do you think this is sufficient to break into IBD? My school has good OCR but no BBs have posted anything yet. Mostly firms like LAZ/EVR/HL/RBC/etc. Any help is appreciated and I'll be giving out SBs for particularly helpful posts.

It's alright, we know you go to Stern.

BBs won't be posting on campus career portals, unfortunately. It's likely that none of them will be on many campuses this fall. Those that haven't deferred their summer conversion offer process until September/October and have already issued offers are nursing those offers they have extended. That means when a slot does open up, it's never getting posted because there are way too many qualified candidates from other banks who are looking to lateral, people who interviewed in the spring and didn't get an offer but stayed in touch, or people who did get a summer offer but went to another firm and have expressed interest in returning.

You need to network. That is the only way to get your name in contention for these spots. Full-time hiring is likely to be absolutely non-existent among the BBs this year. The boutiques have posted because they haven't been as adversely affected by the economic environment (read: they don't have trading desks that are losing money in bad markets).

For your resume: - switch cumulative GPA and major GPA, you need to list major first - try to quantify more of what you did at the Asset Management firm, you have three bullet points with no numerical context for what you did (how many hedge funds did you look at, how many companies did you conduct equity research on) - tighten the spacing between all your entries so you can add more detail about your summer analyst role, you have only three real bullet points dedicated to it since the fourth just mentions the offer; you want more weight on that experience relative to your AM and PWM school-year positions - second bullet point under your tutor position seems awkward/unncessary; either reword it or remove altogether
