Like the title suggests, I'm at a semi-target in the UK (I know the concept of semi-targets is vague here) who'll be applying for IBD summer analyst roles at BBs this fall (and probably spring weeks, seeing as how I didn't decide on IB until after deadlines this year). My experience is a bit off the beaten path, as you'll see.
I know people are going to ask about the PE SA position, and yes I'd love to go into PE straight out of uni but I don't think it's realistic, so I'm aiming for IB. The firm only hires a new analyst every 2-3 years, and I only got this internship in the first place thanks to a hail Mary application and them happening to need a native English speaker who could speak Spanish and read Chinese. Not that I'm an uncompetitive candidate or haven't been busting my ass so far this summer, but I know my odds are slim at this firm and non-existent at other PE firms.
Anyway, be as brutal as you want, although if you're at an American Uni let me point out in advance that our grading system is different. 70%+ counts as first class honours here, so my 71% is like a 3.7/4, not some shithead's GPA.
I think your CV is pretty good overall and has a solid structure. It may be worth putting in your GCSE and A-Level grades because leaving them out might raise questions.
Your work experience this Summer also looks good. If there's any other work experience you've done in the past, I think it may be helpful to put it in.

Thanks, checked yours out in the other thread. I figured since I had two years of uni before transferring that I'd put those marks in instead of my secondary school grades, do you think it'll still look odd? My grades aren't bad or anything, I'd just have to drop 3-4 lines of stuff off the experience section to make room, which I'd rather not do.

Other comments: 1. 'Work Experience' section needs to be more extensive/granular than 'Experience' section, not the other way round 2. Grammar. Don't use words like 'etc, Misc' - it's an auto-ding. 3. Pick only about 3 activities - we don't need a laundry list
I agree, however if you take out the insight days it might be worth putting in the A-Levels (don´t bother thinking about GCSEs imo).
As for his grammar, I think he only put ´Misc.´ for posting on the forum, maybe there are personal awards, I have no idea why he would hide the awards but there you go.
