Putting "rebuilt models" on resume?
At a bank with not much deal flow so only did a bunch of profiles, comps and research. No live deal experience esp in modeling. Ive had abit of down time and spend most of it rebuilding models of previous deals (eg keeping the assumptions page and delete all the calculation formulas and rewrite them entirely). When i write my resume, whats the best approach of including this? 1. have a generic bullet point: building dcf/lbo sensitivities (without mentioning its live or previous deals) 2. have a generic bullet point: rebuilt dcf/lbo sensitivities of previous transactions 3. list the transactions i rebuilt under selected transaction experience and say built dcf/lbo model for the transaction
One bullet: "furthered technical knowledge of a range of transactions, including through financial modelling".
Would you put that sentence on your resume?
