Resume Review - Investment Management/Equity Research post MBA
Hello everyone,
Please critique my resume. I want to get into Investment management/Equity research post my MBA. I will be interning at Kennedy Capital management, a st. Louis based investment management firm focussed on small and mid cap equities. As a finance intern (1 yearlong intern), I am expected to assist analysts and portfolio managers with equity research and perform various "Administrative duties". I wish to work at a Buy-side firm in NYC.

Top 1% of the graduating class (4th in a class of 66) -- I don't get it, how is that top 1%?

Yes that was a typo...I meant "10% of the graduating class"...I am sorry.....Shit! I sent the same resume to Citi, UBS, Morgan for summer Associate positions (with the same typo)...Bye Bye to them ?

Any reason why you did not include your GPA? Only other comment is the last section I would personally title it "Other" instead of "Other Data"

We have no GPA in Business school. Its just a Pass/Fail system at the graduate business level.. I have noted and made the necessary correction regarding "Other data". Thank you so much!
Not sure what CFA you're talking about but the only CFA I know of is "Chartered Financial Analyst" not certified financial analyst.
it's a very weak resume for a summer associate position. nothing on your resume sounds impressive to be honest. If you get 1 or 2 interviews with it, consider yourself the luckiest guy alive.
