  • Experience looks good at first sight (lots of numbers, transactions,...), but quite the wall of text imho...

  • Maybe add some student organization, sports team or whatever else you did on campus under education?

  • SEDAR/EDGAR isnt rly relevant imho (everyone should be able to work with these or pick it up in 5mins), but shouldn't hurt

  • "Bloomberg": I suppose you mean working with the terminal, therefore -> "Bloomberg Terminal"

  • Would only mention CFA lv1 if you passed, so leave out the "candidate" fluff if you didn't

In general, one of the better resumes! Shows passion and experience. Only misses something more personal and less over-achiever-ish imho... :)

I agree with rvdabbee, it is too wordy imho. Your bullet points are quite lengthy which I think defeat the purpose of bullet points but I am no expert. Furthermore, CVs are to get recruiters' attention so whenever you describe something, get to the point and leave out the some details for the interviews.

Other than some of the general wordiness that others have mentioned, try diversifying some of the interests you list, unless "financial planning" and "day trading" is something you really value and have a deep interest in. There's no need to put since you already prove your interest in finance in the work experience section

It might help in interviews as I know they look to see if you share common interests (usually something like running or biking)

Thanks for the feedback so far, its been helpful! Couple questions though:

1) should i put anything about being proficient in office/excel, etc.? 2) in terms of the format, a lot of ivy league business schools are putting the dates on the left and the rest indented to the right, i saw it in several resume books.

Any other critiques would be great!!
