Review my Resume - Applying to BBs for FT job

http://razume.com/documents/8014

Please review my resume. I will be applying to BBs for a FT job in the fall and am wondering what my chances are. 2 notes: 1) Winter 2008 is misalligned because of razume 2) The bullet points for my JPM internship are projected, obviously they will be better once I actually start working.

Thanks in advance!

  • Check the formatting of your document. If razume is not getting it right, there is a high chance online app. systems won't get it right either. Razume transforms good formated documents w/o any problems.
  • "With Honors" =>"Cum Laude (expected)"
  • Drop Microsoft Office/Excel
  • "Captain of campus champion intramural tennis team" = > "Captain of champion IM tennis team". You better be a winner of an open league, not some bs "residential" or "freshman" leagues.
  • Your 'Interests' section is crap, change it. Give some new/special/unique info. "college football", "shooting pool", "meeting new people", are you serious?
  • None of your bullet points go over 1st line, is it some sort of rule you are trying to follow? Just wondering.

P.S.: if I were you, I'd use one of paid professional resume-check services. You have great internships to talk about, but the descriptions aren't that informative. $200 now might be a difference between getting 1st round interviews from 6 BB/elite rather than 3.

alignment: some of your titles are aligned over the bullets, while some are in a little rather than over the bullets.

as puss said, formatting shouldn't have been a problem on razume if you saved as pdf

community service: why is Local capitalized in one place and not in another (unless they're placeholders). I don't think you complete service "from," I'd change that word

I'd expand on the 1M investment pool, that's a fairly substantive amount for an undergrad to be managing

As Puss said, you should redo your degree title. I'd go with: B.S. Accounting and Finance, Cum Laude, Phi Kappa Phi (ditch the semicolons)

Interests could also be brushed up on. Meeting new people? I'm not sure that goes on a resume unless you want a role in HR

Ill change the interests section and some of the formatting issues.

Puss- What is wrong with my bullet points, I feel like they sufficiently describe what I did. How do you think they should look.

Also, should some of my bullet points go over 1 line, it saves me space if I cram it all into one line?

Drexel- Where should I put the Student Investment Fund? Under Work Experience, or should I put it up top with Education?

Thanks for the input. If anyone has any more suggestions please let me know.

Finally, what do you guys think my chances are of getting FT interviews? the JPM MO role was my only interview and I am hoping FT recruitment goes better for me
