Work Experience over Education on Resume?

Hi monkeys, I attend a Uni outside the UK that barely anyone is familiar with. I'm looking at IB/ Corporate Banking SA roles and I've heard recruiters are heavily biased and discriminate on the basis of how much of a target / how prestigious a uni is. I, however, have decent work experience that I'm looking to leverage.

I understand that as a student your Education should always be at the top, but will having my Work Experience on the top improve my chances? I feel having looked at my work experience the recruiters will approach my education section with a more open mind. For context:

  • Audit intern at Big4
  • Corporate Banking intern at a small regional bank (Asia)
  • Research intern at startup fintech
  • Summer intern rotation between Asset Management/ IB/ Treasury at small regional bank (Asia)

Will these help bypass the prestige bias if I have them first thing on my resume? Thanks!
