Amherst/Williams Lacrosse vs NYU Stern vs Brown
Pretty much the title. I have a preferred walk-on lacrosse status and admission at a W/A, as well as admissions to second two. Which is best for finance careers in the short and long term?

A/W if you just want a IB job and a sick lax experience, Stern if you are willing to take slightly more risk but want the highest upside. Depends on your confidence in your abilities
-williams lax grad
a/w lax or brown ur choice on preference lol
Any reason in particular you left out stern?
academic culture matters and stern is just not fun.

Williams no diff. I watch the lax kids walk off the field into a bunch of the top spots, big culture of peoples parents helping out other peoples kids on the team.
My best friend that I played w in high school played at another great NESCAC. The experience is insane, you’re literally top dawg on campus. Lax at W/A is the equivalent of Touse at Bama. Plus all your teammates are rich and well connected, and you get to know parents well
Lax at W/A (williams places a bit better but A lax is supposedly better?) if you really want to be a student athlete, Brown for ivy league cachet. Stern should not even be in the conversation
The school with the best placements no matter how you slice it up (overall, per capita, buyside, top sellside) shouldn’t be in the conversation? Stern hate has gone too far
Shockingly, a business school has higher placements than non business schools. Incredible insight here
Congrats on Stern!
Knowing that he’s a potential NESCAC student athlete and the only ivy he got was brown, you can use critical thinking and deduce he doesn’t belong at Stern. Guess they don’t teach reasoning there but hope the accounting was fun.
