Attending HBS just to meet LP's and vibe?
Hey there - I'm an exited founder who has made decent liquidity and already have a new profitable company / not looking for a job.
I am thinking about raising a fund in the future and already have a great network of prior investors, but think schools like HBS/W are also great breeding ground to build organic relationships with sons/daughters of really rich people.
To that extent, I am considering matriculating into HBS without the intention of recruiting for a job or going to classes. Instead, I am planning to engage/socialize as much as I can with the LP-adjacent student body, and add value to whomever I can via my own introductions that can help them. In my remaining free time, I will WFH/campus on my already operating company (which is remote anyway).
I will be paying full tuition.
How dumb or ingenious is this?
