BA in Economics from a top school vs Bcomm in Accounting/Finance at a sort of non-target business school.

Which would be better in terms of going into high finance. I am leaning towards the economics degree but am afraid that I may not be considered due to the fact that I wont have any finance/accounting knowledge (in terms of my degree). Let me know your thoughts.

Ah I see. Well, for some context, I don't know if you know these schools but I am comparing UofT BA in Economics to Ryerson's Ted Rogers business school program in Accounting and Finance. Which would you say is preferable?
