Bad MSc in Bocconi or Finance MSc in non-target uni
My goal is IB and/or trading/asset management.
Is it better to get a lower tier MSc in bocconi such as: Management, Economics and Social Sciences, Data science and business analytics, because the top MSc(finance, acf, im) are too hard and i don't think i can get in, or to get a relevant MSc in finance or quantitative finance from a non-target?
Get the brand name. 5 years down the line no one cares the tittle of your master but the name of the uni :)
Doesn't getting a non-quantitative degree, even in bocconi, precludes me from positions in trading/asset management?
Good question, why not take additional electives that could indicate that you realised you were more interested in finance in the end... trying to keep the brand name (which i find to be the most important).
Thanks for the different prospective
