Best master's in econ that don't require GRE/GMAT
I'll be applying to schools that require the GMAT and GRE but I also want to know schools that don't require these and place well.

The answer to this is simple If you're not willing to put in 200+ hardcore hours of study, you will NOT get into a 2000+ hour program which is worth your time. You might even end up with some scholarship cash out of the ordeal. Imagine being paid $100/hour to brush up on the basics. Yeah, that matters.
Bite the bullet. Study hard and prove to the world that you're not so stupid/lazy that you can't score a 330GRE or 700GMAT.
For what it's worth, I did not perform admirably on the ACT in HS. I devastated the GRE.
you could try AAP at Johns Hopkins Kreiger--- i have no idea about how the program actually goes, but it's a part-time online program under CA&S
Yeah, I realized that. For anyone searching on the internet right now if you want to get into a decent program and have possibility of getting a nice job it's necessary to get into a prestigious school. Thank you for your contribution. I shall now post a list of schools that offer MA's in economics and aren't meant for pursuing Ph.D programs unless you want to: http://econ.duke.edu/masters-programs/admissions http://econ.as.nyu.edu/page/ma http://econ.columbia.edu/masters http://www.lse.ac.uk/study/graduate/taughtProgrammes2015/MScEconomics.a… http://econ.georgetown.edu/masters-in-applied-economics/welcome
Unfortunately a lot of programs are geared towards preparing you for a Ph.D and don't really offer MAs(imagine a masters in economics at University of Chicago) but some schools offer advanced diplomas in economics(but I don't think they carry that mush leverage)
Good luck!
I don't know if it is true, but I often hear that.... pure theory economics as a Master's degree is a bust if phD is not pursued.
Not necessarily. Just through prestige and networking alone you can get into finance but the programs I posted offer a pretty decent set of quantitative and analytical skills.
a quick sampling of the Georgetown Econ says that it requires GRE and cannot use GMAT for substitution.
