Best Semi-Targets?

What are the top semi-targets?

Not sure I can get into a target. 35 ACT; however, my GPA is a 3.7 UW. I attend a competitive high school, where hardly anyone achieves a 3.9 UW.

Have good internships and great leadership positions.

Thanks.

still hard to get into because their classes are way smaller so admissions standards remain high.

Seconded, people are going to give me shit for this but Rutgers is a very solid option. Just look at placements for their most recent SA classes 2021 and 2022. 95% of people who recruit for IB ended up at a BB, EB, Well regarded MM, or industry boutique. Around 40 people are heading to top firms - would put it in the workshop tier because of these numbers

Didn't MS but have one thing to point out: Rutgers is a shoe-in with OP's stats, I think coming from a competitive high school and with all the hard-work they put in to get to the place that they are today, Rutgers wouldn't be the best fit. OP's state school would probably be a better option, if near full tuition/full-ride.

UC Berkeley, UMICH, UT Austin, UVA are my favorites state school wise. Good placement all around & cheap.

Beyond that I’d add UNC and IU as well.
