Bocconi vs WHU - MSc Finance

Hi everyone,

I was accepted into the MSc Finance programs at Bocconi and WHU, and am currently deciding which one to enrol in. Would be great to hear thoughts on which one has an advantage when it comes to purely London finance recruiting for international students.

Also wondering if it's worth attending either program if I am already working as an IB analyst at a domestic bank in my country.

Thanks a lot for your time

Hi, depends where are you from. Did you do a target school in your country and is your domestic bank (a top one in your country). If all are yes, then you do not need an MSc at those unis. However, if it is not a target uni then I would say it is worth it.

Then for each school. Bocconi is located in Italy which is not doing very good with its country and economy. Some go to London but now it is harder due to Brexit and visa obligations. WHU is in Germany super strong economy and although has a strong influence in its country is less strong internationally. Although, you see also some alumni in London. All in all, both are good but depends on the experience you want to live. Good luck!
