Boston College MSA

I will be matriculating into the MS Accounting program at BC for 2012 and was hoping some alum and/or current students could help me out with a few questions I have.

1) I am a non-target, non- accounting major and am curious to know how hard it may be to get ocr jobs, in general how is msa recruiting? How many big 4 placement/ MM/ etc?

2) How rigorous is the course load? I hear it is not terribly difficult if your a decent student and that most of the class get B or A range.

3) Are there any particular pitfall you can think of, or conversely any particularly great things about BC csom?

It is an expensive program and I just want to make sure I am not spending money on what I could get at a mediocre state school.

Thanks in advance.

Why not BC's MSF program?

for a non-target non-accounting major I would not pick an an institution whose MSF is not highly respected (MIT, Princeton, WUSTL, Tulane, Claremont, Vanderbilt, Villanova) over an MSA b.c accounting pretty much guarantees a job, basically, if you don't get in an MSF at one of the aforementioned school it is better to go with the safer, more established, option (MSA).
