Boston College (MSAE) vs. JHU (MSAE) for Investment Management Positions

International student who graduated from UC Berkeley in August of 2018. Currently searching for H-1B sponsored roles but I've only got 1 year to do so given my visa situation. Decent GPA, but I should've majored in something quant heavy and hustled harder for internships.

Considering graduate school to extend my stay here in the US and enhance my credentials. I'm not in a position to shell out $80k+ for another top-tier institution, but the Applied Econ programs offered at BC and JHU are between $33-42k and luckily that's comfortable for me.

Huge benefit of BC over JHU: STEM designated MS, which would give me 3 years of work authorization after I complete the degree.

Questions:

Has anyone even heard of these programs? Will just their "brand name" alone be enough to at least to land me interviews? These aren't extension schools, but I'm nervous they might be perceived as so in the industry. Y/N? Ideally, I want to go to B-school one day; I just can't afford it right now and don't have the experience. Will this decision to get a further degree negatively affect my admission down the line? Going home is out of the question. It's do or die.
