Breaking into Megafund REPE Post M7 MBA

Hi all,

Assuming top Masters in Finance (Oxford / Princeton), and attending M7 MBA in fall, what would be the strategy to break into Megafund REPE?

I have many years of REPE deal experience - VP level, and previously worked with large institutional investors. Summer internship?

Would that be weird to become a summer intern, as opposed to using my existing real estate networks to recruit into full time for these large REPE funds? Will clearing the CFA help?

I am hoping to recruit into more senior (VP+ positions)

Thanks
