Bumping Up GPA

Hi guys, I currently have a 3.4 at a target and am applying to IB SA2021 positions. I heard cutoff for most firms is 3.5. I currently have a 3.4 but will have a 3.5 by the end of the sem most likely. Should I put 3.5 as my GPA? If it helps in any way, I'm also an engineering major, which could maybe explain for the lower GPA? Thanks in advance

You could do it, but be prepared to defend with confidence if brought up. I did something similar and it was never brought up. Have a friend who averaged CC and target GPAs together and he’s at PJT/EVR/CVP FT. They don’t give a fuck. There’s kids putting study abroad shit and god knows what else to their cumulative GPA. Dont listen to any of these butt hurt little prospects in here.
