Can you have files you saved from school or prep courses on your work computer?
Wanted to make sure I don't mistakenly violate some obscure IT compliance rule and get let go for no reason. Presumably you're allowed to either email yourself or bring a flash drive of resources you saved from school (obviously copyrighted by the school), as well as anything else proprietary you may have bought (e.g. finance prep courses)?
I assume the main thing your not allowed to do is the reverse - that is email your non-work email stuff from work to take home and work on on your home set up? But I've also heard of people doing work from their home desktop, rather than the thinkpad, so let me know what you guys do.
