Canada or Europe: Best Universities
Hello,
I am an international student looking to apply to international schools. Because of that, I was wondering what schools would be the best for breaking into banking, also taking into account their location and what they would be the best area for getting a spot.
The schools I was thinking were
Stockholm school of economics
Erasmus university rotterdam
University of St Gallen
And for Canada,
University of Toronto
Queen's University (Smith school)
Western University (Ivey)
Thank you if you can answer my question 🙏
Based on the most helpful WSO content, here's a breakdown of the schools you mentioned and their relevance for breaking into banking:
Canada
Western University (Ivey Business School)
Queen's University (Smith School of Business)
University of Toronto (Rotman Commerce)
Europe
University of St. Gallen
Stockholm School of Economics (SSE)
Erasmus University Rotterdam (RSM)
Key Considerations
If you're deciding between the two regions, consider where you'd like to work post-graduation. Canada offers strong opportunities in North America, while Europe provides access to financial hubs like London, Zurich, and Frankfurt.
