Chance of getting into elite business school in US?

Will a degree from a prestigous university in LSE and several years of experience in IB or equity research at a multinational firm in London and an LLB in law get me very close into a top US Business school to do my MBA. I'm also considering which degree will be better? Is it an Accounting and Finance degree or a Bsc in Mathematics and Economics?

There are so many other factors than education for MBA's that your major is pretty much insignificant. I know a lady who just turned down HBS for Booth and she was an URM part of a couple charities was an IB manager at Citi and scored top marks at Notre Dame.

MBA is about all the things you have done outside since graduation and hardly about your grades or major.
