Deferred MBA Recc Letter - Kellogg Professor or Internship Supervisor?

QUESTION: Will having a recc letter from a professor teaching at the same deferred program I'm applying for have significant sway, even if they don't know me that well?

CONUNDRUM: I'm applying to the Kellogg deferred MBA program (max 1 recc letter). I'm unsure whether to get a recc letter from my internship supervisor vs. a Kellogg professor. The internship supervisor knows me better as I've worked more closely with them than the professor. I only met the professor because they also teach undergrad (I go to Kellogg's undergrad school: Northwestern) but our interactions have been confined solely within the classroom.

There's likely other Northwestern students who've worked with Kellogg professors that probably be submitting them as their recommenders as well, so I'm not sure how much it would make me stand out. Plus, the adcom prob knows this professor teaches undergrad so that might reduce the "wow" factor of an undergrad getting a Kellogg professor recc letter. Maybe I'm overthinking but thank you in advance for any advice.

Ask the intern supervisor. Make sure to provide them with an excel spreadsheet/word doc with a list of your accomplishments and everything you did during the internship and senior year updates. They will very much appreciate it. Kellogg takes a lot of kids for their deferred program so you should good anyway (as long you have decent grades and ECAs).

Source: applied to the top 6 schools last yeear and got into few of the deferred programs.

Wow so you applied to 6 schools, how much effort did that take you? Do you recommend this. I am thinking of doing HSW + CBS exclusively but wondering if I should play it safe.

For context here are my stats: my stats are a 3.7 GPA and a 715 GMAT Focus Score— equivalent of a 760 OG GMAT Exam Score. I had a few internships including FAANG, Consulting, VC and Startups (going full-time to a T2 strategy consulting shop).
