IMHO try with LSE MSc Finance, if you can play your cards you have a change, besides I'd prefere LSE MSc Acc & Finance to Bocconi and the others. You might give a look at other programmes in the UK
It's funny I've quite the same profile. I've finished my master 1 in a top French Business School and I'm starting corporate finance in a big4 finance in september 2014. I will also try to apply for LSE acc&finance... I'd say that LSE is better than the others.

If your GMAT is 700 or higher just go for the LSE MSc Finance. Just take a chance, don't play safe. I'd also take the LSE Finance & Acc over the other programs though, just because LSE has outstanding placement in London finance.
Do you think a LoR from a LSE prof. would be useful? Actually my previous Prof. became member of the finance faculty.
That speaks for itself right. From what I know typical applicants have 700+ GMAT, at least one prestigious internship (doesn't need to be IB BB per se, as long as its competitive to get it) went to a decent school where they did a business/economics program or a technical one and scored in the top 5% of their class. Some other extra-curricular stuff like an exchange or being a member of the finance-club obviously helps as well.

When you register for the GMAT you get 2 computer-based practice tests. Those 2 tests are a great indicator of your final score at the actual test (at least it was for me). Also, I'd apply to the finance for any score 700 and higher. 700 is a very popular cut-off for business programs as in 700 is considered good enough. A higher score is always better but from that point on it doesnt matter that much anymore as the rest of your application. Also remind that the GMAT is an important part of your application but far from the only. Even without a sky-high GMAT you can get it.
