Differences between Ivy vs Non-Ivy Undergrad?

Not related to IB placement, but just in general I’ve always been curious what it’s like to go to an ivy. I go to a pretty large non-target school, decent rankings but not even close to the real prestigious names. What’s it like there? Are the classes harder, how’s the atmosphere, is everyone stuck up like they say or just normal kids, etc. How is it really?

Less fun, more protests, more expensive.

Oh and more racism (if your skin is the wrong color you’re an oppressor according to faculty).

After going there I will not send my kids there.

I truly think the military academies produce the most elite individuals on the planet nowadays.

this but add extreme nepotism in every aspect (class selection, job recruiting, etc). you’ll always get big dicked by someone better-connected if trying to do anything through traditional channels. Have to be way more scrappy and creative to get good results compared to the Michigans and UVAs of the world. Only plus is social approval at dinner parties with your parents friends and from random girls you meet at bars.

Retarded response. Went to an Ivy with no connections, student loans, the works. Perfectly possible to make friends with anyone (uber connected or not) if you aren’t completely socially inept. Also depends which Ivy you go to (Greek life focused vs more nerdy). 11/10 times would go again.
