Do employers see a difference between a BA in econ and a BS in econ
i go to a non target(University of Maryland college park) and wanted to do a BA in economics and was wondering how hard is it to find business related job with a BA in econ? what type of courses should one be taking as a BA econ to make it as similar as possible to a BS in economics?
if your classmates / alumni knows which one is the real deal, you better try not to shortcut.
Otherwise, No
i know it;s just that i am not in a high enough math to take the BS course yet
If you've taken Cacl II/III, Micro/Macro 101 & 201, Stats, Econometrics, and International Econ it shouldn't matter.
is financial modeling and applied econometrics good too?
You can't do legit financial modeling without understanding accounting. Only thing you can do is calc irr and present value.
Employers can smell BS from a mile away
what do you mean?
No difference.
