Do employers see a difference between a BA in econ and a BS in econ

i go to a non target(University of Maryland college park) and wanted to do a BA in economics and was wondering how hard is it to find business related job with a BA in econ? what type of courses should one be taking as a BA econ to make it as similar as possible to a BS in economics?

if your classmates / alumni knows which one is the real deal, you better try not to shortcut.
