Does Target and semi-Target matter for MO and BO Roles in an investment bank?

I am going to be studying at a Semi-Target University in the UK and I was wondering about only FO roles that are biased towards Targets and Semi-Targets. I want to know whether this is the same for MO and BO roles? Even wanted to know the salaries for MO and BO in an Investment Bank?

Most of the people I’ve met in back office are from non targets so I’d assume school rank doesn’t matter much

Overall compensation is much lower in MO/BO. Eventually, you do make 6 figures if you stay long enough but its much less compared to the FO counterparts at that level. I've seen some risk jobs posting around 45-50k with a small bonus of maybe 5-10k.
