does Wharton make-or-break at Penn?

I'm a soph at penn cas rn debating whether to do a dual degree with W (because of some weird ass penn policy people in my situation are not allowed to internally transfer). The situation boils down to this: do a dual degree between College and W studying econ and business or do a double major in econ and cs

honestly I'm pretty invested in my degree path already (econ + cs major) and like what I'm studying, so I'm debating whether it's worth it to do the dual degree or not. I guess my question is whether Wharton is seriously that good that it's worth giving up studying CS over, something I know I'd be interested in learning. I'm interested in IB, sure, but I'm far from deadset. I'm also interested in venture capital, quant, or even going into tech.

Any advice would be appreciated.

For banking yes, for quant no. You will have an easier time getting reps in with the Wharton crowd if you’re also part of it, otherwise the dozens of other stellar kids will be taking the spotlight.

Went to CAS at Penn and went into banking - it’s easier at Wharton but plenty of CAS students go into banking as well

srry im a little new to this but would you say that this is because Wharton is just that good or because recruiting in the College is made worse by the fact that Wharton exists (compared to like Columbia or Chicago or something)
