Econ vs Business Major?
I'm applying to colleges this cycle, I'm still deciding between applying to the Biz school vs a traditional econ major for schools like Umich, USC, and Georgetown.
Economics is my #1 academic passion, and while I enjoy studying business as well, I definitely value an economics degree more. I'm fine with self studying for the technicals, but Ive heard that students can take classes or potentially minor in the Biz school (could someone confirm?).
My question essentially is: Is studying what I'm most interested in worth the trade-off (if any) of a slightly more difficult IB recruiting process compared to being in the biz school?
Thanks in advance!
yes do econ
