EDHEC , ESSEC , St. Gallen or ther master's degree

Hi monkeys,

I just got admitted by EDHEC Msc in corporate finance and banking program. I want to know if this would be a good choice for me to have my career in Europe, hopefully in London since I could not speak any french.

My target is in management consulting, M&A in IB, PE (especially VC), or finance department in a corporation. I have a bachelor degree from a prestigious Chinese university with GPA3.9/4.3 and GMAT of 700. I have 2 years of dealer experience in an asset management company.

I have heard the reputation of this school could not be compared to HEC, ESCP, and ESSEC. However, EDHEC has a focus in finance. So it can be ranked as the 2nd in terms of finance, just after HEC. Is it true?

If I want to find a internship of job in London, would it be hard to find one with the master's degree? Is EDHEC recognized by the recruiter from top tier bank? I have not learnt French at all. I bet it would be hard to find a job in France not speaking French, right? How about Germany or Switzerland? Is it possible for me to get an offer there?

I know it make much more sense to find a business school in London for it is close to the financial hub. However, the tuition fee and price level is too high to afford. So the other choices I have would be ESSEC or St. Gallen. How would you evaluate these 2 compared to EDHEC? I have searched for some alumni on linkedin. It seems like there are few of the alumni working in the top tier IB. Would it be better if I study in St. gallen, essec, LSE, LBS or Warick?

Last, some say the Grand Ecole program is much valuable than Msc program, is it correct?

thanks for your thoughts.
