European Masters for US Students
Rising junior at a solid non target and haven't had much luck for 2021 IB recruiting. Assuming I don't get anything good for next summer, would it be wise to do a masters in either managment (MiM) or finance in Europe? Obviously it's really early to be thinking about it but I want to make sure I'm totally prepared if I do go down that route. Is there anything I should know before I seriously consider it? Also, how is the visa process in England for Americans post Brexit?

If you get a masters in the U.K. be prepared to work in the U.K. or Europe as that is where you will be networking through university. It is a good move if you see yourself working in London or Europe after your masters. Getting a visa is no problem as your university sponsors you.
Yeah I understand that, wouldn't mind living in Europe for a couple years at all.
Never heard of the uni sponsoring visa, I am quite sure it is the employer (at least for the UK masters I attended). That being said, most Americans in my class stayed in Europe and didn't seem to have any problems with visas, with only a few going back to the US (and that seemed to be more a function of job offers).
Check the masters/20 Questions threads on my profile. Should help understand the landscape over here
That's really helpful, thanks!
