Exploring opportunity for Applied Stats & Economics
Hi - my kid is entering Senior year in a Top 5 public university in the country. He will graduate with a Dual degree - Applied Statistics & Economics (including courses in Econometrics). Internship during sophomore and junior years in business analytics. Would appreciate any advice on couple of topics:

should he take some finance courses (not sure if business school will let him take courses since he does not belong to that school)

what roles would work for him (quantitative oriented) & any advice on cultivating contacts since he does not go to the business school?
