Fellow monkeys, I need your opinion! What should I do?

Hello fellow monkeys,

I am trying to get as many responses as possible on something which has been on my mind ever since I saw the requirements for a masters in finance.

Academic Background: Studying management and accounting in the UK.

When looking at requirements both masters in finance at Imperial and LSE say they require a basic understanding of calculus and statistics, the issue I have is that calculus is not included in my course.

When I look through the class profiles both courses have about 15% of the people have a background in Business and Management, do you think I still have a shot applying? Maybe with a good GMAT they could be more lenient? Do you know what these people did to get in?

What do you think I should do considering I have approximately 1 year ahead of me before I apply?

All and any ideas would be of great help, I have also seen a summer course at LSE which includes the foundations of calculus maybe that could help.

Thank you so much in advance to anyone who replies!

Best regards, Iceman2
