So when you mean Top 30 you mean like 27-30 right just to be clear? Your GPA is fine but not impressive, GMAT is good enough but not impressive, your work experience seems fine, the space thing seems to be your angle. I feel like you need to really lean into that to make yourself stand out in some way. The essay topic seems pretty banal. I'd do something more out there and have less of a focus on your families influence unless we're talking about some real whacky type shit. Asian immigrant stories - whatever they are - by and large are surely overplayed to death.So at the end of the day I feel like you have a shot. A shot in the crapshoot that is H/S B school admissions.

I feel when anyone puts T# for school, it's usually within 3 spots of that # (otherwise just drop the name instead of the specific ranking). So yes to 27-30. On the essay - 100% aware of the cliche "American dream/hardship/immigrant/work ethic inspiration" bs. My family situation is beyond whacky and has nothing to do with those topics.
