How do REPE firms view M7 MBA grads?

If you graduate from a M7 MBA, is landing a REPE associate role relatively easy? Do these firms value a M7 grad over someone else with real estate (non REPE) experience? Are there a lot of firms that recruit on campus?

Also, do M7 grads still need to go through the same rigorous technical/financial modeling interviews?

Overall, I am wondering if getting an M7 MBA is really that helpful to landing a top real estate job, given that I already work in the industry (development).
