How many international students (non-US) are recruited by PE and Hedge Funds after MBA?

Dear Friends,

I am interested in pursuing a career in Finance (Corp Fin / I-banking / PE) post-MBA.
I was keen on understanding whether PE funds and Hedge Funds prefer hiring only US citizens?

I could not find this data on most college websites and hence I'm posting this question here.
Thank you in advance.

if you are a Visa student, you definitely need to be top-notch. Some firms will have hard requirement on no sponsorships----others will allow sponsorships, but those will be oversubscribed by Visa students from everywhere--hence you have to be the best.

with that said. I think PE typically hires those with 2 years of IB in BB banks or MBB consulting. Otherwise it can be rough.
