How should I approach this?

Hello all, I am a 2nd year analyst at a BB in AM. I started at a non target and transferred to an Ivy. My younger sister is getting her college decisions back right now and she got into a target after getting waitlisted by a lot of other universities (4.0, great ECs, goes a top private school in NYC on financial aid (I went to public)). Given how nuts college acceptances are right now, she is not banking high hopes on the Ivies she applied to which come out in a few days. Other than that, her other acceptance is at a semi-target (think VNova, Fordham etc.) While the semi target has offered her a full ride, she feels pressured to go there because our parents simply cannot afford the less than desired aid given by the target uni she got into (expects 50k in loans across all 4 years to go there). As someone who started at a non target, I know the value of a good university on your resume and was thinking about telling her that at the very least in four years time so long as she graduates, I will help her out by fronting for the first two years of her loans so she can build up some savings get some stability before she can start paying me back and her loans going forward. In other words, just let her know that she should go to the target if she wants to as I will do my best to help her out how I can. I have a great relationship with her and she is very close to me so that is not an issue here. My main question is that is it that much more worth it to go to a target for me to propose this? She also intends to work in finance.

Wow, man. This is truly remarkable. Your sister is lucky to have you. I do believe that paying a bit more to attend the target will be worth it in the long run. I assume she will pay you back eventually.
