How the actual heck do you convert to a 4.0 scale?
Okay, I'm just going to say it: the 4.0 scale system sucks. I've read like a dozen sites that have different thresholds.
Just. Use. Cumulative GPAs.
Or at least have some common standard of conversion. I cannot have a 2.7-3.5 based on what website I click. It should just be a simple cGPA threshold of some sort converts to X.X or something.
What does everyone use for apps? Is there some official calculator I don't know about?

Ask the schools you are applying to/the universities themselves usually have a table. Very possible it is different everywhere.
Is there any particular reason for why they've opted into this approach as compared to just Cumulative GPAs? Seems like a roundabout way for less information that's less intuitive to non-MBA admissions folks who aren't familiar with individual GPA calculator nuances.
