HS JUNIOR LOOKING FOR HELP

Hey guys, I am a junior in high school and feel like IB is the right career path for me and is something I am pretty passionate about. Due to some medical stuff and other crap I can’t really go any target schools due to my grades. The only semi-targets I could go to would be Indiana and maybe UT, but UT would be a huge stretch considering my grades. My top choices for schools are as follows:
Auburn
Indiana
Baylor (scholarship money)
Ole miss (big scholarship money)
Alabama (big scholarship money)
After graduation, I would like to wind up in Dallas, Chicago, or NYC. To further complicate things, transferring colleges later on in is out of the question for some reasons I won’t go into here. The bottom line is I am wondering what school I should attend, and any other tips and pieces of advice y’all may have for me. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

What are your grades? if those are your top schools (excluding IU and UT), your grades have to be pretty low. Maybe re take SAT til you get a desired score?

My cumulative is a 3.5, by the time I apply to colleges maybe a 3.7. Ik it sucks but honestly considering my circumstances it could be way worse. Also, I haven’t take the ACT/SAT but I will soon and I should wind up with a score of 30 or better.

look at SMU. If you want to be in TX (would need to include Houston) it’s a pretty good target and not too too competitive when compared to University of Texas. Literally go to a top finance target, am interested in energy, and found myself continually interviewing with people from SMU

IU is a great school with a good network within finance (esp if you can get into their undergrad biz program).

Just be cautious thinking that you want to go IB as a junior in HS. It's very different from what you think it might be and is not cut made for a lot of people. Not sure what industry you're interested in but I spoke with the people behind lifeandlevfin's tutorial and they were stand up people. Made me think a lot about what I wanted out of investment banking. Went in to investment banking anyway but they were spot on
