I apologize for the chance me request - HBS 2+2

Hi all,

I really hate asking this question but curious if anyone could provide some thoughts on if it's worth applying to HBS 2+2 program, I'll drop my stats below and if you felt like giving some input I'd appreciate it big time:

  • Demographics: white male, 1st gen college and immigrant, middle class from NYC
  • Education: Dartmouth/Cornell/Brown math major, 3.3 gpa
  • Work experience: 2 investment banking internships and a private equity/credit internship (FT position TBD)
  • GMAT not taken but I'm a decent test taker, had 1520-1560 range SAT and 800 on SAT Math II - say I'll test between a 730-750?

Thanks so much

Recent 2+2 HBS admit here. I believe the only factors hindering your application are 1) your GPA and 2) they prefer people from deep stem backgrounds like engineering or biology. My understanding is that most 2+2 programs prefer STEM majors or those not commonly represented in the MBA community. However, with a top-tier GMAT score and compelling essays explaining how you’ll leverage the 2+2 to your advantage, I’d say you have a chance.
