Is a Masters in Finance worth it?
Is a MFin from a top school worth doing after I complete my undergrad? I am probably looking to go into asset managements but I am still very unsure. Also, pretty much every MFin program talks about needing a strong mathematical background. What kind of math/probability courses should I take in my undergrad to make sure I am prepared if i do an Masters in Finance. I'm a finance/econ double major but at my school we're only required to take up to Calc B but I'm guessing that won't be enough.
Is it US or Europe? Do you have an offer straight after undergrad or not yet?
US - I'm just a freshman so no offers and internships yet. But my GPA is pretty strong and I am at a well regarded school but not a target. Not sure how hard it'll be to get an offer straight out of undergrad?
wouldn’t hurt to apply and recruit to keep optionality. but only if it’s a top tier program and recruiting doesn’t work would I go
courses: probability, stochastic processes, linear algebra, analysis if you can, multivariable calc, differential equations. PDEs if you can as well
