Lincoln International - MBA Recruiting
Hey WSO,
I was looking through the interview database for Lincoln International on glassdoor and noticed a couple people say that they were asked for grades and test scores going back to college (and even HS in one case!). I haven't seen anything to this effect in the WSO interview database, so just wondering if anyone can confirm they were asked these questions in their post-MBA Associate interviews?
Not post-MBA associate, but they asked me about even SAT scores, and were pretty adamant that I get them accurate ones (I didn't have them on the phone and told them "roughly X" and they said we'll need exact numbers if you are able to find them). I would imagine for MBA associate it's the same. They seemed pretty particular.
Also as I'm sure you've heard, the big thing about their process that stands out is the hair follicle test.
.
Nice.
Can confirm all of this information except there was nothing about high school. Also, it is fairly standard to provide GPA and GMAT these days (most banks I applied to during recruiting asked about it in their application form).
Can speak from experience with Lincoln International that they do request GPA (Undergrad and Grad) and GMAT scores for MBA's.
.
I don't remember if there was a specific cut off for undergrad GPA, I don't think there was, but it did seem to influence a decision for one of my classmates. Have a story prepared. There is a cut off for graduate GPA and GMAT score, don't remember what they were exactly, maybe 3.5 for GPA. No one asked me SAT score (Associate).
For Grad GPA, what if your school does grade non-disclosure?
Assuming you mean grade non-disclosure, then you wouldn't have to supply your grad GPA.
I edited my previous comment to mean grade non-disclosure. I have heard that some banks and consulting firms do not follow the school's grade non-disclosure and really encourage that you submit your Grad GPA.
