What university would nomadic pastoralists in the Saharan Desert know, or the tribespeople of the Amazon? What university has the strongest brand in the world?
What is the most prestigious university of them all for one to have attended?
Would definitely like to know people’s experiences in regards to this question rather than just a simple answer.

Harvard or Oxford probably
Asking this question on here is like beating a dead horse but it’s Harvard for American new-world prestige and Oxford for British old-world prestige.
As a child who grew up in Africa and all I know as a child was Harvard and my local uni. Oxford and MIT were next and then came other universities after. I’m a Doctorat student in France and I think in France Harvard and Oxford are know by everyone but not the others.

Harvard/Oxford are the top tier and Yale would probably be in the next one with Stanford, MIT, Cambridge, etc.
Harvard is probably the most famous, followed by Oxford.
Next are MIT, Yale, Sorbonne, Cambridge, etc.

Maybe having some of his real friends know about this weird ass obsession with Harvard and Oxford will make him realize how weird this behavior is.
