MSc Finance - Funding and Alternative Options Help??

Hi all,

Currently at a target uni studying BSc Economics and in the process of applying for MSc Finance courses - by extension also preparing for my upcoming GMAT.

My main concern at the moment is funding. I am fairly confident that I'll get into Imperial/LSE's MSc Finance course but they are both between 38-50k in tuition. I am also applying to more competitive courses (Oxford and LBS) which also require similar amounts in tuition fees.

I'm looking into private debt which is probably easily attainable for the courses above - but taking out 50k of debt seems very hefty and a hard pill for me to swallow. I am therefore considering applying to some cheaper MSc Finance courses at semi-targets (which in terms of rep would be a "downgrade" from my current uni, although I don't mind at all), namely MSc Finance at St Andrews.

Would it be worth doing an MSc Finance at St Andrews? Otherwise, is it worth the 50k debt to pursue an MSc Finance at a target? If anyone has any opinions/advice on my situation it would be greatly appreciate.
