MSc Finance Trinity vs NOVA vs elsewhere
I have some experience in financial services (6 months in a general back-office role), and am thinking about starting a Masters next September in order to do 1-2 internships and go directly into IB or Corporate Banking in the UK or elsewhere, rather than take the long route through a big 4 corporate finance role (would probably take a minimum of 3.5 years with accounting exams). I already have a masters from an Irish university (not UCD or Trinity).
I'm looking at NOVA in Portugal as an option because it seems to place well in a few EU countries, and possibly Trinity College Dublin as a second choice. I don't have the time to score 650+ in the GMAT at this stage, so those two are my top two choices given no GMAT and the fact that they're relatively cheap. NOVA has the option to do a 2 year course and study abroad, and seems to have more of a focus on internships than Trinity.
Are there any other schools I should look at in the UK or Germany etc? I have looked at Warwick and Imperial, and they're both probably too competitive. SSE requires the GMAT, and the only other comparable options are RSM, and NOVA seems like a better choice.
