MSF Fall 22
Hi, guys I am an international student wanting to pursue MSF in the United States. The OPT is of importance. Which universities will be best suitable? I am not really interested in coding and dont want to pursue MFE. 1 odd course is fine.
Background:
Undergraduate: Engineering (STEM) in Information Technology. All Quant subjects maximum grade.
GPA: 3.8/4
TOEFL: Expected 110+
GRE: 330 164Q 166V
Internships: 3(Equity analysis, investment analyst and investment banker)
Projects:Stock market Website.
Audit courses: Business Analytics and Microeconomics.
Planning to do the CFA investments program before my application.
Vanderbilt's MSF places very well into IB from what I've heard. The program's not quanty but is still STEM-designated, which is something you absolutely need.
Yea, OP I would go with Vanderbilt if you want to focus on IB. Their employment report is pretty good and I think majority are international applicants, so they heavily promote the OPT extension. MIT would be most ideal but they require a bit of programming.
I was planning on applying to other STEM MSF like USC, UIUC, Boston College. How good are these?
