MSF Programs Recommendations?

Hey guys,

I am considering applying to MSF programs for a better chance to break into IB/ER. I am an international student senior year from a semi-target school, Finance major and Math minor. I have 3.9 GPA,1 FP&A internship, and the Google data analytics professional certificate (not sure if it means anything). I don't plan on taking the GMAT because want to use the time to study for the CFA level 1 instead, plus many MSF programs do not require GMAT now.

I am looking for STEM designated programs with good placements in IB/ER and do not require GMAT. I've done some research and seen many prestigious programs have GMAT waiver available (Vandy,UVA,etc.) My understanding is that a good GMAT score is normally needed to offset low GPA. So my questions are will having GMAT waived effect my application? With my stats, what programs are my best bet? Do you guys recommend any other paths, if any, other than MSF to break into IB/ER in my position.

Thank you! Any thoughts/recommendations is greatly appreciated!
