Opinions on my options
International student Major-Finance(business schools in all of them)
Rutgers -57k/y
Indiana Bloomington- 60k/y
SDSU- 52k/y
FAU-43k/y
UCF-37k/y
ASU-40k/y
Most important for me are the chances of getting an internship(hopefully for a BB,back office at least)
notes- iu is pre bus for me and not direct admission to kelley.
Rutgers is econ but I heard it doesn’t matter and you can go to rbs on sophomore.
Not IU. You're not in Kelley, Workshop is competitive, and they have historically struggled to place international students in IB roles.
And they would have a better chance from the other schools? Kelley is definitely the best option tbh but you're screwed if you dont get in. Would say Rutgers next, def a solid place due to proximity. Also, since you're an international student OP, I'm assuming someone else might be paying. If this is the case, I would only consider between these two options. FYI: Kelley has been becoming harder, class of 2028 had a 7ish percent acceptance rate for DA. This means competition and grade weighting is only getting more difficult for pre business folks. It won’t matter as much.
IB is very limited in my country..
Idk how difficult it is to get in the IU biz school, but if it’s somewhat attainable then I would go with that and bust your ass to get in.
Let’s say for what reason I’m not admitted to Kelley.

I can get a scholarship but it would be 10k-15k/y max still hella expensive yeah
If ur not black or Hispanic, ur only two options should be IU and ASU, both have IB programs but ASU’s is a lot smaller

If ur black or Hispanic, you can gamble all the other schools and apply to headstart BTG SEO MLT, they’re diversity headhunters. Regardless, if you are set on IB, IU is ur best choice. ASU is nice but placement is harder but way better than the other schools on ur list
